I can't set the default save location for new apps to my F or G drives. make sure you have no files or folders by that name already on the drive. Keep in mind as well that if you're moving apps from an SSD to a HDD then it will slow the apps. If at all possible it's better to keep apps on the C drive were they integrate into the registry and should remain with the C image. However User folders lose no speed if they are moved off of C.
